About Dr. Ghulam M Chaudhry
Dr. Ghulam Chaudhry is a distinguished academic leader and scholar with over two decades of experience in higher education, research, and institutional development. He currently serves as the President of TexAM University, where he leads initiatives focused on integrating advanced technology education with values-based academic excellence.
Before joining TexAM University, Dr. Chaudhry held several key academic positions at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC). He served as Professor and Chair in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from July 2011 to 2025, and prior to that, as Professor and Associate Chair from September 2005 to June 2011. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to program growth, research advancement, and faculty development in engineering and computer science disciplines.
Dr. Chaudhry’s expertise spans computer science, electrical engineering, and technology innovation, and he is well recognized for his leadership in academic administration, curriculum modernization, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Previously based in Kansas City, Missouri, United States, Dr. Chaudhry continues to bring his academic insight and leadership experience to foster excellence at TexAM University in Richardson, Texas.
